Pastoralist Action for change and empowerment (PACE) is a registered, non-profit; woman-led Community- Based Organization
(CBO) was established in the year 2018.
The organization was formed as a response to mitigate and solve emerging
issues affecting community in Marsabit County. PACE works to address, human trafficking, Sexual and Gender -Based
Violence SGBV, Reproductive health education, Menstrual and adolescence health education, Drug and substance abuse,
Economic empower and Climate change.
Our work is dominated in some part of the county operating in North Horr and Saku sub-counties. However, on the long-term,
the organization is willing
to extend its operations to other parts of the county subject to funding and stability.
It is in this light that we have notably proved our capacity in improving the lives of communities through our projects since inception. This has been made possible with the able leadership of the Board, the Director/CEO, committed staff, our donors and partners whom we cooperatively and actively work with.
To significantly improve mental, social and economic well- being of all members of the community through education, access to justice, empowerment, support and advocacy.
To transform our culture of social violence, injustices and inequalities by educating, inspiring and mobilizing our
community to raise their voices and create real change.
